POET ANASTASIA CLARK TO READ AT THE SCHACKNOW MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS.

CLARK announces she will do a poetry reading at The Schacknow Museum of Fine Arts on June 18, 2010. The event will begin at 6:30 pm. Admission is

Clark recently completed
her “Broward County Poet-in-Residence
Poetry Reading Series,” which included ten poetry readings at ten libraries
throughout Broward. The readings featured tips on getting published, poetry
news, a poetry reading and discussion. The series was funded in part by the
Broward County Board of County Commissioners as recommended by the Broward
Cultural Council.
She is the author of
several full length poetry books: Grieving With Poetry (2004)-
poems written after the death of her parents, Bloodsongs (2004)- poetry about women’s
issues, Skeletons and Other Complaints (2004)- poetry about
life’s challenges and Vagabond Pond (2006)- poems about being
lost. She is also the author of the POETRY PETALS chapbook
collection- themed booklets designed for gift and floral baskets. Titles
include Friendship Poems, Healing
Poems, Holiday Poems, Humorous Poems, Inspirational Poems,
Kaleidoscope Poems, Nostalgic Poems and Romantic Poems. Visit

The Schacknow
Museum of Fine Arts was
founded by New York artist and retired business man Max
Schacknow. It opened in June 2000 and is
registered as a 501-(c)(3) charitable organization. The
museum hosts numerous social events, lectures and guided tours- and also offers
