Poet ANASTASIA CLARK Free Poetry Reading at Carver Ranches Library to help celebrate April National Poetry Month and April National Jazz Month

Poet ANASTASIA CLARK will do a poetry reading at Carver Ranches Library on April 29, 2009 at 6:30pm.  The free event is part of a special evening planned to celebrate April National Poetry Month and April National Jazz Month- and will also feature jazz singer / songwriter / author Cynthia Strachun Saunders. The library is located at 4735 SW 18th St, Hollywood, FL 33023.  Tel: 954-985-1945. The event is open to the public.

 

Anastasia Clark is the author of several poetry books. Full-length titles include Grieving With Poetry- poems written after the death of her parents, Bloodsongs - poetry about women’s issues, Skeletons and Other Complaints- poems about life’s struggles and Vagabond Pond- poetry about feeling lost. She is also the author of the POETRY PETALS chapbook collection. Titles include Friendship Poems, Healing Poems, Holiday Poems, Humorous Poems, Inspirational Poems, Kaleidoscope Poems, Nostalgic Poems and Romantic Poems.  

 

Clark (Moore) grew up in Framingham, MA where she served as Poet-in-Residence to the Public Schools during 1977-78. She currently resides in Miramar, FL with her husband. She has two grown children and three grandchildren.
