POET ANASTASIA CLARK ANNOUNCES BOOK SIGNING AT BORDERS

Clark will be promoting her three full-length titles published by Sun Rising Poetry Press in 2004- Grieving With Poetry ($16.00 list) - a collection of poems and journal entries written after the death of her parents, Bloodsongs ($16.00 list)- a collection of poetry about women’s issues, and Skeletons and Other Complaints ($16.00 list)- an eclectic collection of surreal poems about life’s challenges. The distinctive book covers feature the artwork of award-winning book cover designer, Donette Smock. The books have received international attention and are quickly becoming collectibles.

Clark has been writing poetry for over thirty years. She grew up in Framingham, MA, where she served as Poet-In-Residence (Anastasia Moore) during 1977-78. She currently resides in Miramar, FL with her family.

Her work has appeared in numerous literary journals, including Outsider Ink, Sunpiper Press Literary Review, Penwomanship, The Ultimate Hallucination, Wilmington Blues, VOiCE, Scrivener’s Pen, Spillway Review, Subtletea and Adagio Verse Quarterly. During 2001-2003 Clark served as Poetry Editor and Poetry Columnist for Epiphany Magazine: a celebration in writing. Her poem, “Old Volcanoes,” was nominated for the 2005 Pushcart Prize.

Sun Rising Poetry Press (Dale Djunk, Editor-In-Chief and Donette Smock, Publisher) was established in 2003 and has quickly become a leading publisher of high quality poetry books- featuring many of today’s talented poets- including Steven Manchester, Sirrus Poe, Daniel Arsyn, Jeremi Handrinos, Michael Paul Ladanyi and C.E.
