13 Local Authors Unite to Read From, Promote, & Sell Their Books

 

Coral Springs, FL – Bookmark the date:  Saturday, March 8th, 2008.  That is when 13 local published authors will all come together to participate in a monumental event known as The Local Author Showcase V, hosted by Renda Writer, an event host and producer of a wide variety of local shows.   The event will take place at Java D’Lites, a full service coffee house venue in Coral Springs, and will run from 7:00pm until 11:00pm.  Admission is FREE and open to the public.  All ages are welcome.

 

Renda Writer has this to say about his anticipation for the event: “Being that this is the fifth installment of this unique literary event, I decided to make it bigger than the previous four by creating a line-up of 13 authors, instead of the customary 5-author line-up.  Often overlooked as artists, these authors need a night to read from, promote, and sell their books.  My hope is that they each gain a few new fans.”

The evening has the following schedule:  7:00pm-7:30pm – Meet & Greet with authors, 7:30pm-10:00pm – Excerpt readings (10 minutes per author), 10:00pm-11:00pm – Moderated Author Q&A.  Java D’Lites is located at 2528 N.
