Abandoned Automobile

 

There is sadness

In some

Old broken

Automobile:

 

Faded cushions

Of lost relief-

A rusted frame

Of old beliefs-

 

A fifth

Of whiskey

Pitched in the dirt.

 

A bottle

Of pills

Under a skirt.

 

A busted up

Windshield-

Cracked in two.

 

Abandoned now-

In memory of you.
